Preamble

The state of Idaho would benefit from a policy agenda which reflects, for the first time, the gravity of the ethical decisions--for better or worse--rendered by medical and business professionals. This suggests the creation of a legally sanctioned class of professional staff: ethicists capable of offering professional counsel to medical and business professionals. This policy agenda would create an at-law "privilege" for such ethicists, and would be defensible on equivalently the same basis as the at-law privileges for the medical and psychotherapeutic professions..
